We are currently accepting applications for the following positions:
Shift Manager
General Duties: Perform customer service and sales duties as needed; Operate projection & sound equipment independently; Maintain daily time schedule (on time shows, staffing levels) Complete paperwork accurately; Count and reconcile cash and receipts; Supervise employees during shift; Communicate with Manager about operations; Build and break down films; Other duties as needed
Qualifications: Previous business management and customer service preferred, theater projection and sound experience desirable; drivers license and reliable transportation required; Able to make change quickly and accurately; Able to greet and service the public in a polite, effective manner, including conflict resolution; Skilled at the use of a computer; Some knowledge of business mathematics; Able to lead supervised staff by example and perform all duties of sales staff
Shifts: Shifts vary according to film schedule; includes irregular days and odd hours, nights and weekends; approximately 2-4 shifts/week, may vary weekly; Averages 16+ hours per week.
Pay: Hourly wage starts at $8.75. Our staff enjoys free movies, as well as free and half priced snacks.
This position would be excellent for a young business oriented person looking for experience running a clean, organized operation. This position offers excellent experience working with a diverse staff, generally happy customers and a highly positive work environment that fosters honesty, responsibility and attention to detail. Once trained, the shift managers are responsible for all aspects of the daily operation from open to close.
